Crescentwood Kitchen & Bath
This project is amazing and TENTEN Kitchens was thrilled to be a part of it. The space itself is a rare find. A two level, penthouse condo in Crescentwood with 20 foot ceilings in the living area. Roughly completed, never finished. A gem. The owner brought her vision for the project to Belinda Albo Designs and Mac and Mac Contracting. Belinda, artfully crafted the homeowner's ideas into a deliverable project design. Mac and Mac carried the design down to each project detail. Their work is meticulous and it shows. After seeing work that we had done in a friend's Crescentwood home, the homeowner asked TENTEN Kitchens to build and install the kitchen and ensuite cabinets and millwork. We were honoured. We worked to create the functionality that the homeowner wanted into Belinda's overall design. Custom cabinets were built for the project by Jim from Unimill Millwork. Jim's work is amazing. He is very detailed and it shows in his work. Gorgeous white cabinetry. Gorgeous white quartz. Gorgeous marble backsplash. Gorgeous fixtures. Built-in appliances. An extra deep pantry under the stairs next to the wall oven. Large garbage/recycling cabinet. Utensil, cutlery, spice and dish organizers in drawers. Lots of detail in this fabulous kitchen for this fabulous family! And in the ensuite, his and hers vanities with a make-up table between. An amazing stand alone tub, steam shower room, more gorgeous white cabinetry, gorgeous white quartz and gorgeous marble floor. Custom millwork around the mirrors and the light fixtures completed the amazing look. We loved working with this homeowner and her team! Her sense of design shows in every piece of her gorgeous home!
Richmond West Kitchen
This family loves to entertain and was finding that their kitchen just wasn't working! The dated cutouts between the family room and kitchen needed to go. And a better flow with an island was necessary. A floor that was able to stand up to their two large dogs and still look good was a must. The walls cutouts came down, the floor changed to a heated tile floor and gorgeous off-white cabinets with an island installed. Lowered cabinets by the windows allowed the homeowners a place to put much-loved plants inherited from her mother! Drawers, pull-outs in the pantry, a magic corner, a pull-out for oils all combined to give much functional storage! Now they have ample space to entertain their many friends!
This small kitchen was dated and needed some storage! There wasn't a lot of square footage to work with and we took one wall down to open up the space which meant less walls for cabinets. A small pull-out pantry next to the fridge, a lazy susan, a magic corner and a built-in dishwasher makes this kitchen very functional. We love the way the white cabinets, quartz countertop, unique tiled backsplash come together! Opening the wall between the kitchen and livingroom allows this wonderful family to be in the kitchen working while still visiting with their family and friends.
Charleswood Kitchen 4
This busy family with 3 teenagers needed more space! A more functional kitchen, more counterspace and an update! An awkward corner full of pipes and ducts was reduced, the ceiling pipes were raised so the ceiling could go up, and a partial wall was removed to open the space up and out! New flooring throughout the main floor with hardwoods in the main areas and LVT in the front entry, granite countertop, white maple cabinets, new appliances and LOTS of drawers! We just love creating these beautiful spaces for wonderful people!
Fort Garry Kitchen
This busy family needed a more functional space. The fridge location was causing a bottleneck anytime someone went in the fridge. More counterspace was a must. Opening up the corner into the diningroom was important. And lots of glass to display their kitchenware was needed! We changed the window out so it was raised and would allow cabinets underneath. The window was also widened so that they had a great view of their backyard. We added 8 inches to the wall next to the new stove location allowing great cabinet space to be added! A combination of butcher block and quartz for countertops and two-toned cabinets with agreeable grey bases and white uppers makes for a warm and inviting space!
Whyte Ridge Kitchen
We had tons of fun with this wonderful couple designing and building their beautiful kitchen! They wanted an island and we told them no! ;) But seriously, sometimes it just won't work. Part of their kitchen was too narrow and an island would have disrupted the flow and caused more problems rather than fixing the functionality for them. An angled peninsula was the answer as well as a new walk-in pantry! They also wanted a bar/desk area at the end of the kitchen. Lit, glass fronted cabinets gave that end of the kitchen lots of light! The "agreeable grey" cabinets are gorgeous with the grey quartz countertops, grey LVT floor and grey subway tile backsplash. Lots of drawers, a magic corner provide a ton of functional storage. Top it all off with a beautiful pale purple paint and you've got happy homeowners and a gorgeous new kitchen!
St. James Basement
This wonderful couple had a space to watch television but they didn't love it. It was cool down there and the finishes were dated. Not too mention, they had a storage room that was full to the brim. They were looking for more useable and functional space in their storage room. New carpet with dri-cor underneath immediately made the space warmer. Add in the gorgeous new electric fireplace, a new updated ceiling and lighting, dark wood cabinets at the bar and the space is warm and inviting. The storage room was completely gutted and changed to a bright and functional dressingroom/storage space. A full length mirror, valet rods, drawers, and a custom cabinet for their electrical panel with additional storage makes the room fabulous!
West End Kitchen
This little kitchen was small, dark and not functional. It also didn't reflect the owner's bubbly personality! A wall came down, custom colour cabinets and quartz went in. More space, more light, more bling! An entertaining space for a wonderful lady
Charleswood Kitchen 3
This wonderful couple had been in their home for a long time and plan on being there for a long time coming. While functional, it was time for a change in style and added space. White cabinets lightened up the space dramatically, along with new potlights and taking down the dividing cabinet! New flooring, gorgeous granite, stainless appliances and a brand new desk area with lighted glass cabinets makes this space a wonderful change for their home!
CHARLESWOOD Contemporary KITCHEN
It was time to renovate the kitchen of this fabulous couple! Their dated cabinets and layout wasn't working for them anymore. And it certainly didn't reflect their wonderful personalities! Gone is the boxed fluorescent light. Gone are the dated dark cabinets with bulkhead. White cabinets, gorgeous quartz countertop, new flooring, lots of drawers, 3 magic corners! and drawers under the sink. Built-in garbage/recycling centre. And seating for two or three!
CHARLESWOOD TRANSITIONAL KITCHEN
This kitchen was dated and not fun enough for this fabulous family! The old boxed fluorescent light was dragging the whole space down. We took out the whole ceiling, which had been dropped 6 inches to accommodate the light. Gorgeous white cabinets, quartz countertop, new hardwoods in the kitchen to match the rest of the house, stainless appliances, glass tile backsplash—all make for a gorgeous new space!
South St. Vital Transitional Kitchen
This family needed a change to their dated kitchen. The wide and long kitchen wasn't functioning as well as it should and it was time to get rid of those European cabinets! A wall down, an island added, lots of functional, gorgeous cabinetry and beautiful granite countertops moved this kitchen into the fabulous category!
West Kildonan Transitional Kitchen
This young couple wanted an updated look without breaking the bank. New white cabinets, updated laminate countertop in a gorgeous colour, crown moulding, stainless steel appliances took their kitchen to beautiful! They are happy to entertain in their new space!
St. Vital Contemporary Basement
This basement desperately needed an upgrade. Not only in style but in functional space. Everything was ripped out and re-done. A fabulous wet bar, new tile shower, great living space, book shelves, gaming table and a bedroom make this space fabulous for entertaining and living!
West St Paul Contemporary Basement
This growing family had an unfinished basement. They needed room for their kids to play and to entertain. They also needed space for guests. The result was a gorgeous place for them to entertain, grow and share with their family and friends.
Island Lakes Transitional Kitchen
This 80's kitchen was functional but needed an update! It was time to let the European cabinets go! We took down part of a stubwall and added an island which provided much more storage! The white cabinets on the perimeter go beautifully with the chocolate cherry island and remaining stubwall topper and the new granite countertops! And the new floors are the icing on the cake!
Lindenwoods Contemporary Main Floor/Kitchen
These customers loved their home by really wanted to change the layout and functionality of it. We took out the wall between the old Kitchen and old Diningroom and moved the Kitchen into the old Diningroom space. The livingroom was closed off and made into the office. Now they have a large family room, eating area and kitchen space that opens onto their glorious outdoor space for entertaining!
CRESCENTWOOD TRADITIONAL KITCHEN
The dated kitchen in this 3 storey home wasn't working for these wonderful homeowners. They wanted something updated that would still go with the traditional style of the rest of their 1912 home.
HUNTINGDALE TRANSITIONAL KITCHEN
These homeowners were ready for a change. Their kitchen is a well-used part of their home and it wasn't working anymore. The corner sink was a pain in the neck—literally. And the outdated cabinets didn't fit with this happening family! With a window removed (that's right—removed), cabinets updated, quartz countertop added, heated tile floor, glass backsplash and gorgeous lighting, this kitchen is now brightier and airier and gorgeousier (I know that isn't a word but I was on a roll!)
SOUTHDALE TRANSITIONAL KITCHEN
A busy family wanted a new living space. The wall between their dining room/livingroom and their kitchen wasn't working. It closed off the space and limited the light streaming in from their large livingroom windows. With the wall removed, hardwoods throughout, a new glass railing, a family-friendly peninsula, this space now works for their entire family.
LARCHWOOD TRADITIONAL KITCHEN
This kitchen was inspired by the homeowner wanting a new fridge! Crazy what happens when you want to change one thing in your kitchen! Her cabinets were flaking apart, she didn't like her flooring or her countertops. An avid cook and baker, her kitchen wasn't configured for her massive cooling rack and KitchenAid. We upgraded the cabinets and with a few hidden additions, gave her the kitchen she always wanted!
River Heights Traditional Kitchen
This tiny kitchen was a challenge. How to get more space with the same footprint?! By utilizing magic corners and adding a pantry cabinet by the fridge, their space was greatly increased plus they could use the space in those pesky corners. They end result was a gorgeous upgrade in this old house!
